Organisers Statement: Lap of Chingford plains perimeter. Two races: girls and boys, one after the other. Primary School age children only. Course Description: One lap of Chingford Plain. Course Navigation: The start and finish area clearly marked with poles and tape. Marshalls at even distance across the course. Plus a runner at the front and sweepers at the back. Parent volunteers marshal the race at 200/300m intervals. In addition, there will be lead runners (hare) and multiple sweepers running behind. Should a child be unable to complete a sweep will escort them back to the start. The sweeps included adult volunteers. The race ends in a funnel, giving each child a place token. Each school is responsible for their list of participants. In addition, all Orion volunteers are qualified UKA assistant coaches or coaches.
