Organisers Statement: A Half Marathon race that starts from Creasey Park Community Football Centre in Dunstable. The route take you on a scenic, rural trail run, across the stunning Dunstable Downs and surrounding areas. Run mainly on public footpaths and bridle ways with occasional sections on quiet country lanes, the course is a self-navigated route. Course Description: Our half marathon event takes you up over the scenic Dunstable Downs, through Whipsnade and Studham before bring you back home over the Downs again. With 3 checkpoints, 2 of which include water stations, it’s the shortest of our 3 distances, but no less stunning!rnrnDownload Maps, instructions and GPX files for this route here.rnrnOur checkpoints are manned by super friendly marshals Course Navigation: Downloadable Maps and instructions are available on our website. Also GPX files for this route are available. To assist runners with navigation we use markings in the form of orange spray-painted arrows on the ground at key points. To assist runners with navigation we use tags along the route in the form of orange tags on visible, eye levelled branches at key points.
