Good Friday Crown to Crown (Race 7 of 7) Entry fee - £2.50 Affiliated and £4.50 Unaffiliated, 17 and under £1.50 - Measured 5k route - mainly on bridleways. All standards welcome, but no children under 12 due to EA Permit requirements. toilets available, no showers or changing facilities. Start and finish at Westley Heights Country Park: please do not park in The Crown/Miller & Carter Pub car park. The start and finish is at the Westley Heights Country Park located at the rear of the Miller & Carter (Crown) Public House, Langdon Hills. Course Description: The route takes runners onto Lee Chapel Lane and into the Essex Wildlife Trusts’ Willow Park. A loop round the reserve, back to Lee Chapel Lane and then to the finish in the Country Park. Route is mainly on bridleways however, spikes are not suitable due to a short section of tarmac (approx 10% on tarmac). Held under UK Athletics rules; TRA Permits Applied for.
