Organisers Statement: 50 KM point to point trail run from Welwyn to London on the Cole Green Way and Lea Valley Path. Date: Saturday 20th March 2027. Cutoff 9 Hours. Course Description: Starting in Welwyn Garden City the course is the majority of the public-access trail on the Cole Green Way and the Lea Valley Path. Course finishes in Hackney Wick. Course Navigation: At Welwyn the course follows a straight-forward path to the beginning of the Cole Green Way. There are no roads to cross until you get to Hertford. Here there will be a marshal to advise the safe crossing in front of Hertford Castle. There will be clear sign-posts to guide the runners towards Hartham Common and across the bridge to bring them onto the Lea Valley Path. Here the route is most straight to the finish. All the small path switches will be marked clearly. A GPX route is available and all runners will be advised to download this onto their watches
